No where in Christianity does Jesus say he is the son of God literally speaking.
Jesus does imply he is the only begotten son of God.
That statement is true.

But, on that subject, what humans ultimately are oblivious to is simply this.
Jesus only refers to,or rather ''implies'''he is the only begotten son of God, because mortals generally in this life ,do not comprehend the true functions of the real prime producers ,or real genitors of all life forces and essences.
That is an important concept to note.
